Qualification for Beat Forest Officer :

Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala, or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala.

Age Limit for Beat Forest Officer :

1. 19-33. Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
2. For SC/ST:19-35; ie; Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
3. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Converted to Christian Community, who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents are eligible for age relaxation up to 35 years ie; candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 are eligible to apply for this post (both dates included)

Physical Standards

• Height – A minimum of 168 cm,
• Chest-A minimum of 81 cm around the chest and must have an expansion of 5 cm on full inhalation.

Physical Efficiency Test :

For Male Candidates:

• Endurance Test: All male candidates shall successfully complete an Endurance test of running 2 Kilometres in 13 minutes.

All candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency one-star standard test.

• 100 Metres Run: 14 Second
• High Jump : 132.20 cm(4’6”)
• Long Jump : 457.20 cm(15’)
• Putting the Shot (7264 gms)) : 609.60 cm(20’)
• Throwing the Cricket Ball: 6096 cm(200’)
• Rope Climbing(only with hands) : 365.80 cm(12’)
• Pull-ups or chinning: 8 times
• 1500 Metres Run: 5 Minutes & 44 seconds

For Female Candidates

• Endurance Test: All-female candidates shall successfully complete an Endurance test of running 2 Kilometres in 15 minutes.

All the Female candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Nine events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test for women.

• 100 Metres Run: 17 Second
• High Jump: 106 cm
• Long Jump: 305 cm
• Putting the Shot (4000 gms): 400 cm
• 200 Meters Run: 36 Seconds
• Throwing the thrown ball: 1400 cm
• Shuttle Race (4 X 25 m): 26 seconds
• Pull Ups or chinning: 8 times
• Skipping (One Minute): 80 times
