Qualification: Southern Railway Recruitment 2022

Fresher Category:-

1. Fitter, Painter & Welder

• Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10, +2 System of education or its equivalent.

2. Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology, Pathology, Cardiology )

• Should have passed 12th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10, +2 system of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Ex. ITI Category:-

3. Fitter, Machinist, MMV, Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Painter, Welder(G&E), Wireman, Advance Welder & R&AC

• Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI

4. Electrician

• Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks)under 10 +2 System of education with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI

5. Electronics Mechanic

• Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education with Science (Physics and Chemistry) and Mathematics or its equivalent and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI

6. PASADENA

• Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education & National Trade Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training in “Computer Operator and Programming Assistant”

7. Minimum Academic /Technical Qualification as per the Apprentices Act, 1961

• a) Must have passed 10th class examination under 10 +2 system or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For the calculation of the percentage of matriculation, the marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be reckoned and not on the basis of marks of any subject or group of subjects like best of five, etc. The candidates from the Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh, Board of Public Examination, Kerala, etc, and Administration will take the midpoint of the range of grades obtained by the candidates. After obtaining midpoints of all the attempted subjects according to grades awarded, the average will be calculated treating each subject is out of 100 marks as there is no standard method or multiplying factor for calculation of the average of matriculation for such Boards
• .b) Must have passed ITI Course in relevant trades from a recognized institution. For the calculation of the percentage of ITI marks, the average marks mentioned in the consolidated statement of marks of all semesters of the trade applied/Marks mentioned in the provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT will only be reckoned.

8. Fitter, Machinist, MMV, Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Painter, Trimmer, Welder(G&E), Wireman, Advance Welder & R&AC-

• Should have passed loth Class (with a minimum of50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI

9. Electrician

• Should have passed loth Class (with a minimum of50% aggregate marks)under 10 +2 System of education with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI

10. Electronics Mechanic

• Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education with Science (Physics and Chemistry) and Mathematics or its equivalent and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI

11. PASA

• Should have passed loth Class (with a minimum of50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education & National Trade Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training in “Computer Operator and Programming Assistant”

Note:

i) Minimum 50% marks in X std are not applicable for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.

ii) Course Completed Act Apprentices, Engineering Graduate or Diploma Holder or Vocational Certificate holders who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more, after the attainment of these qualifications are NOT eligible for being engaged as trade apprentice under the Act Apprentice Rules 1992.

Salary Details :

• Apprentices: As per the rule

Age Limit :

1. The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should NOT have completed 22/24 years for Freshers/Ex-ITI, and MLT respectively. 
2. The Upper age is relaxable up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and 10 Years for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD).

• SC/ST/PwBD/Women: NilPay the Examination Fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or Pay Offline Through E Challan.
